Fall & Winter Crafting Wish List

Posted on

I logged in today fully planning on posting a recipe from my long list of recipes that I have waiting to be shared but…… as usually happens, I was distracted.  So instead, today I’m sharing my wish list of crafts I’d like to complete over the coming Fall & Winter months.  And yes, I’m fully aware of how dreamy & ambitious this list is.  If I could even get 2 of these done, I’m sure I’d be happy.

I’m getting together with a group of friends in a couple of weeks for a full on crafting day.  This is going to be a complete blast!  We’ve been sharing pictures & ideas back & forth trying to decide which crafts to work on that day which is probably part of the reason my mind drifted there today.

I’m also in full on dream land thinking about decorating our new front living/dining space that we’ve just tore into remodeling. {I hope to have some “in process” pics to share soon!}  I’ve been scouring Pinterest for all the different ideas I’ve had for that room since we bought this house over 3 years ago.

So, here is my dreamy craft list….

Burlap poms

I’ve seen these gorgeous burlap as well as cotton & lace poms several places around the web & I’m crazy about them.  They may be a part of my image for a little 1st birthday celebration we have coming up soon as well.

It’s embarrassing how long I’ve been planning to make one of these but simply not gotten around to it.  I think this tutorial seems awesome, since you can change out the pennants for different seasons or occasions.

I really like being able to change out pictures frequently & these would make that super easy & definitely look really cute too.  And down the road, these would work great for hanging Wiley’s works of art up for display too!

Shaggy Fabric Wreath

There are so many pretty, homemade wreath tutorials out there but this is one I’ve had on my idea board for quite some time now.  Looks like it could be a bit time consuming but there’s nothing complicated about it, so that’s definitely a plus.

I think these letters are adorable & I so hope to get a set made for our little man.  Realistically, it just isn’t going to happen before Christmas, but wouldn’t they make a wonderful Christmas present?!

{I’ve had this pinned on Pinterest for a LONG time.  When I tried to follow the link through so I could share that here too, it appeared the site was no longer there.  I’m sure there are other tutorials for these out there somewhere though.}

 I also have countless wood signs & pallet wood projects dreamed up.  Oh, and there’s still my project furniture stash in the garage, so I doubt I’ll find myself bored or without a project for the next several months. :)

How about you?  Any projects in store for the Winter?
