When I sat down to write today’s Gratituesday post, I honestly didn’t have any idea what I was going to write about. It’s not that I don’t have anything to be grateful for, it’s actually quite the opposite. There are so MANY things that I have a hard time picking just one to zero in on. God is so good to me!
As I sit here, my eyes can’t help but wander out the window, looking at the beautiful sunshine & how pretty the landscape is all greened up, I’m thankful for God’s creation. I know, that’s kind of a big one. But I don’t step back & take the time nearly enough to really marvel at God’s handiwork. It’s
hard impossible to fathom creating such a complex environment that all works in harmony. But that’s just how awesome our God is!
I’m so grateful I serve such a mighty God, the very one that spoke the world into being…
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. And God said, “Let there be light, ” and there was light.
I don’t know about you, but simply saying, “Let there be light,” & having the sun appear is pretty awe-inspiring to me! And that’s just the beginning of that story. If you haven’t read the story of creation in a while, head over to Genesis 1-2 today & check it out. I think you’ll be in awe of our mighty God as well.
