About Me

Hey there, I’m Amanda!  Let’s see, where do I begin?

I’m married to my best friend, Caleb.

I’m a new mama to our little miracle, Wiley.

This is our other “kid”, Miley{our intention was never to have rhyming names for our baby & our dog, it just happened}.

I love Jesus.

We have 16 nieces & nephews & they are all so awesome!  So much fun!

We live in a small town in Nebraska.

I’m a natural health nut.  I love essential oils, natural remedies, & eating locally grown, organic foods.  I’m always striving to make homemade versions of pretty much anything & everything, in order to avoid chemicals, preservatives or basically anything processed.

Remodeling, house projects, & refurbishing furniture are just a few more of my hobbies & things Caleb & I enjoy doing together as well.  Our house is always a project, one I’m sure that will never be “done”, & we love it!

I’m a fitness instructor at our local Y.  Best. Job. Ever.

And, I’m a country-girl at heart.  We live in town right now, but someday we hope to follow our roots back to the country.

Hope you’ll stick around to follow all of our adventures!

Why “Our Grace Filled Life”?

When trying to come up with a name for this blog, the word that kept standing out to me was “grace”.  Without it, I’m nothing, my life means nothing!  So, I knew it had to be a part of it.  I serve a God that loves us so much that He sent His one & only Son to bear the weight of my sin so that I might have a relationship with Him, how amazing is that!  He lavishly pours out His grace on me, something I’ve done nothing to, nor ever could do anything to deserve.  He continuously fills my life with grace, praise the Lord!

“But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life.”             Titus 3:4-7

In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace that he lavished on us.             Ephesians 1:7-8

Hope that gives you little better idea of who I am!

Amanda
